Use the Current Edition
The official Chinese standards database lists GB/T 93-2025 as current. It was published on 31 October 2025 and became effective on 1 February 2026. GB/T 93-1987 has been withdrawn.
A legacy drawing that still cites the 1987 edition should be reviewed before conversion; changing the year without checking dimensions and technical conditions is not sufficient.
Dimensions and Preferred Sizes
The dimension table covers Φ1.6–Φ48. Φ14, Φ18, Φ22, Φ27, Φ33, Φ39 and Φ45 are non-preferred sizes. The main fields are inside diameter d, section thickness h, free height H and section width n; the standard states h=n.
Technical Conditions Matter
Material, elasticity, torsion, hydrogen-embrittlement control, finish, surface defects and acceptance/packaging all form part of the product definition.
